| Tested all my new sails now, and its just April... 2011 is a pretty good speed year so far. Also finally a good course to test the new GPS_5 design, shows definitly performance on the angles (nearly crosswind) Sonntag aimed for.

Very happy with this perfect curve day!!
I was not even hoping for these results as it was the second session on this board and sail trying to find out what was the best trim for speed on Da Curve.
The 51 seems to work very good with a big variety of fin's first I sailed the Select Caspar 25 Pro with the 6,2 this was simply too much to be efficient.
Then I tried the 24,5 Ultra with the 5,5 this felt better but the sail was slightly over downhauled resulting in a 79 run.
After this I tried the Techtonics NOMAD very easy fin resulting in a 79km/h run's (and the best Nautical)
Then the soft and comfortable Sonntag 28 GPS2 this one had a nice 83 topspeed and a 78km/h run.
Then I changed to 24 Ultra and after some extra tuning this resulted in the top 5 run's 500m and topspeed.
It is very nice to see the board run's great with a wide variety of fin's.
Very nice day with 9 guy's at Da Curve (sailed here over 4 hours...)
In total the session lasted for 7 hours in the suit this must be a PR..

| Prachtige dag op da curve, snelheden schoten omhoog toen ik de carbon x vin ging varen !! The loft 5.6 voor de eerste keer gevaren, ik moet zeggen een heerlijk zeiltje !! meteen pr's mee gevaren !

The next generation is taking over. As i'm getting older and for sure not faster and my speedbuddy Hans is only 25 and improving every session i know there will be a moment i will never beat him anymore.
The last sessions it looks like this turning point is reached.
Hans respect for so many times going over 88 km/h today. With more wind you will go far over 90 for sure.

Very nice first session at Da Curve this spot was on my list for a while. Nice to also have this spot record and also nice to know that it can be 4km faster average. The future looks bright ;) also nice to know i can do the same speed port tack. The 20 Slingshot rules first time this blade touched the water and i'm in love with my setup on the NP 5,5 Evo 3 with the 45JP Speed this combo is going to be recordbreaking.
Thanks for the ride on the scooter Jack was fun.

What a fantastic spot. The day was ideal. Tide, wind & direction where perfect. Enough km. in my hands & Peter thanks for trying your board and fin.....
& last but not least a Pr on the Nautical mile. Finaly above 60km/hr....:-)

Haha, I like this windy days in NL also if it is not possible for me to come over and join you. Really laughing about some comments in combination with some great speeds!
Jacques scores a 45knots average and is afraid that Hans has taken him and Hans replys with the information he can add 4km/h more. Great stuff :D

voor mij was het al na 3 runs over door giek defect
had al een max van 78 en run van 75 staan
gezien de meeste snelle runs daarna zijn gemaakt,zat er misschien wel een PR in
volgende keer maar weer proberen
verder iedereen van harte
heb nog aantal fotos gemaakt
zullen waarschijnlijk op wad1team-site te zien zijn
