Quite happy with my 40knot peak as it was almost square on but could of done with my 5.2. Should have known not to trust a south westerly. Next time i'll take all my sails.   Great day & totally unexpected

Well I went to beat Bob's raceboard speed and crack 30 knots on the RB and regret even geting the board out!

I think there is an optimun wind to try do this and 40 odd knots was too much as the board was difficult to get going and then once up to speed didn't ever allow the sail to go light in the hands like you normally get when speed sailing.  Maybe the sail was too big, maybe I could have got away with smaller but that seems odd since the smallest sail I use to race on it is a 8.5!

The low average is down to me only doing two runs as had a nasty crash and damaged the board but still managed 30.94 knot  peak so acheived the one goal.  I will save this attempt for a 25 - 30 knot day in the future!

Fun but frustrating and very gusty!  Will I ever get close to 40 knots on this slalom board???!!!!!!  It just seems to reach a limit

Hey Darren !     U know I took full advantage of your situation....I slipped down that wall on the back ov ass
