Weymouth speed week 2011, used 3 boards, 3 sails, 3 fins.......all my new fins got used today, that has to be a record! Nothing else particularly good though compared to the rest of the sailors on the harbour.

First proper day at WSW 2011.

I felt like I was sailing pretty well and the conditions were just like my home spot @ Brog Lake.

Pretty pleased with my speeds although I just couldn't go any faster as the winds picked up as the chop made self preservation hold me back!

Speed Week Day 3 - And the wind turned up.

nice session with all the speed week boys and girls ( busy ) trying out my new seat harness felt wierd at first but very comfortable though, tried for speed but need some more time bonding with the seat harness . sail was perfect money well spent . board next

WSW and fisrt proper windy day.   Hard work for a lightweight...ploughing into chop. Three boards and two sails..but even though I ended up on the Falcon Speed, it was too choppy for me to improve on the speeds earlier in the afternoon.  Certainly different going for 500m, rather than 10S!

Took a heavy crash early and nearly broke my shoulder as it destroyed the boom. Sailed in a lot of pain for the rest of the day.

Var ute med SL75, 55, Sp63, 44 och 8.6, 7,8 och 7.0

Inget funkade och jag fegade så fort det blev choppigt, och vågade inte segla för nära stranden heller... Inte bra med detta örat som inte får doppas.

My first day on the water in the event, but I missed the best conditions in the beginning of the heat, when I hit the water the wind was a bit stronger but he had shifted (RO mentioned shifts of 30°) so we could surf that close anymore to the beach.

Anyway I was glad to have some watertime after all and I like the spot, the facilities and the easy accesability.(and the water was relatively warm)

Eindelijk mijn pr op de 500 meter verbroken en dan nog wel met een nieuw board. Misschien had ik beter de 85 genomen, maar die was al bezet...

First windy day of Weymouth Speed Week. Started with 8m and 107 board then dropped down to 7.3 and 90 ltr board. Really choppy course.

Best day at Weymouth Speed week, I was obviously going for 500m. Great event.

Fastest day of WSW, posted again as the British ladder was not set up till now.
