Happy i'm still here, Hans was driving and i was sleeping in the back, suddenly a big bang and Hans woke up shouting behind the steering wheel. He was in dreamland and driving the van in the concrete wall on a highway in the middle of the mountains, we were super lucky that only 2 wheels were damaged and we didn't roll over a few times.

Today should be not so windy compared to big monday, the day we are here for. So started with the 6,4 and 50. Hans was smarter and started rigging his 5,8 and 45.

After 2 hours of sailing he was right, i had to rig my small gear aswell and probably missed some good gusts. I anyway need an excuse if i compare my numbers with his topruns....

Nice conditions today sunny weather it wasn't as flat as i hoped for but it's getting there. Tomorrow not so much wind but need a break after today sunburn and my muscles aren't used to the gusty tramontana

If you compare my session speeds  with Master Jacques and Hans this looks like a dissapointing session, but stil had a great day. First time on La Franqui in over an year, and used this session to get dialed in again.  Started with the *Board speed 54 and 5.6, changed to the Missile XS and old Hot GPS 4.6 ( 4.9 Blade was unfortuynately left at home), and best speeds in the end with the blade 5.6 (some times powered to the max) and missile. Stayed a bit on the save side, tired from the car trip.

wow hans - jacques good to hear your ok glad to see you had a good day
