An afternoon that promised much fell abit short :( but still a great time had out in the sunshine and in a shortie too :) With the wind not supposed to arrive before early afternoon I was in no hurry to go, so Mag and I biked the the beach at Felixstowe Ferry for breakfast again. Then with the breeze filling in a little I biked home to get my kit while Mag stayed on the beach with friends. After admiring Roger Vickers nice new campervan rigged big and went out on the longboard in the easterly winds - not a common direction here and se is better making reaching along the coast better. I was under powered for most of the session but by using the plate and waves you could get up and going. During the session I sailed to the pier and then to The Manor sailing really broad but not fast :( As the wind increased, the tide came in making the sea very big so fast sailing was hard and I think it is time to retire my poor old Cat as it is getting heavy and the fin box is broken and try out my new 270 lt version !!!

Just enough wind to play in the sun till my boom broke frown
