A bad day at the office...woken up by kids at 4am then arrived late missing the best wind...another gust came after lunch and as I went to go out I see a fin though my sail.   When I had repaired it the wind had gone again...just managed to catch 1 run of OK wind but in a real mess...boom round my ankles and...anyway...I'll try again next year :)

did'nt think i was gotng to get a session wind finally came back around 4.30, nice evening cruise till dark me and old mrs tush

last day at speedweek.  managed to catch the squall

Frustrating day... lots of plodding and sinking. Failed to spot the squal in time so did the run at least 600m away from the bank, rather than miss it entirely. Turned out to be my best 500m despite the chop from being so far out. Disappointing after such a good forecast!

Weymouth speedweek, reasonable forecast but conditions were awful for speed...choppy too broad and no wind. My 500m of 32.6 became 31.6 in the event so bit dissapointed with that, but pleased to have got a decent run.

What a superday in Weymouth!!

I won both  heats in ISWC European Championship Speed Tour with a safe margin and most of my of runs today was better than the rest of the whole fleet!

(But I did not nail my 500 metres in the course as good as Daniel and Stephen. Maybe I did not do a straight line or a bit too slow in the entry of the course)

Ended up 3:rd overall in Weymouth Speedweek, 2:nd in European Championship Speed Tour UK, 1:th in Weymouth Speedweek Masters, 4:th in European Championship Speed Tour Overall 2012.

Congratulations Daniel for the tripple victory!!!

Well deserved after all these hours and km on the water the last 7 years.

Congratulation Carbon Art for being fastest today and the whole week!

Weymouth Speed Week decided by a 5 minute gust in the afternoon - preceeded by a couple of thuder claps for special effect.

WSW Day 7

Once all the WSW guys were off the water the tide came up and the wind filled in to a decent 18Knts so i could tuck in nicely along the causeway and get some decent max's on this big kit as the light started to fade, great fun and had it all to myself!

windiest day at Weymouth speed week, just one good squall and I happened to be on my 144 Isonic/8m GTX scary

Weymouth Speedweek Day 7, Spent the morning on my 7.5m KA Koncept and was underpowered most of the time as the wind was very gusty and massive holes allover the place so when i was on the course i was powered until i usually hit a lull so when i went in for luch i rigged my 8.5m KA Koncept and went back out. The wind got even lighter and i wasn't even planing half of the time but i got my fastest speed in the squall in that hit in the afternoon and was completely maxed on my 8.5 and glad to get down the course in one piece. Typical the wind pickedup after the comp had finished but still gald to have improved my speeds from earlier in the week

Last day of speed week. Need bigger kit!

Final day of Weymouth Speedweek 2012. Managed to pip JFW, Adrian Wallis and Rich to win the Inter Services speed title!! A good final 10 mins.
