OnBoard Demo Day at Boggy with the JP/NP demo trailer.  Took the JP IX 112 for a spin and it felt more like the Slalom IV and V which is a good thing.  Messed around with footstraps which were massive and started to get tuned then the wind dropped a bit and got a little gusty.  I dont know if it was me, the wind or the board but I didn't plane out of any gybes - I think the board needs to be a little more juiced to coast through the turn.  There was a Supersport 112 - the same volume as the slalom but 5cm longer and 1cm narrower.  I regret not taking it for a spin to compare with the slalom as it was a rare opportunity.  Maybe next year...

Good to catch up with everyone!

Another arvo session at Boggy lake. Wind came in at 3pm as usual and was expecting 10 -15 knots so rigged 8m Hotsail GPS, Fanatic falcon 113 and R425 Black Project fin. Got on the water and the wind picked up to 15 - 20. Took the helmet cam for a few runs and felt a little overdone in some of the gusts and wasn't comfortable so changed down to 7m and R375 black project fin. By the time i got back out the wind had dropped to 13 - 18 knots. Similar wind to yesterday but a little gustier and not enough south east for flat water and long runs. Still had a lot of fun. Surprised i had a 29.6 on big kit and for a while was only running high 29's with 7m
