I can't complain about this surfing day. Wasn't cold (warmer as monday anyway). But the predicted wind didn't show up. The rain did!

Because the forecast spoke about 40 knt we were discussing the sailsize. We took 5.8m (Geert) and Dave and I 6.3 because we  about those 40 knt, we thougt if we get 30 ore a bit more it will be best wat we can get here. But in fact we never had even 25 knt's so in these conditions with gear just big enough for me, it was just ok.

For dave, with his Manta 54 as current biggest board frown. it didn't work. Luckily he had a go on Geert his Mistral 105.

In the end, I had a good 2 hours, with 2 good guys on the water.

A great thanks to Geertje from who I could borrow his 105 SL Mistral board or else I was just able to walk in the water along the shore.
The set was just to small to get me going on the plane and the wind was very poor and gusty. Not even close to what they predicted but hey I didn't have could only a little at the very and of the session.

Hope my MxR board will be ready in january!
