What an unexpected strange but funny day! I was planning to go to the new spot named Benny's Curve (Plaat Van Walsoorden) and so I did, dispite the rain. That was not good for the vibe to have a nice session and when I arrived I saw Benny cruising along the sandbank. I measered between 15 and 17 knots of wind with peaks to 20 -22 max. Didn't want to get in trouble with small gear and because I didn't want to use any bigger gear I moved to Kabbelaarsbnk. There I met Vincent who sailed at a nice spot yesterday hé said.. I took my FALCON SPEED 51 !!! with 5.8 and cruised around to lake (downwind!!!) to end at DEN OSSE!!!!! But the wind wasn't at the right angle, way to broad!! So we had to get back the whole lake upwind and for me that wasn't that easy with that small gear!!  Next time I will start at another spot and I already know where!  Nevertheless I had a great time but if I knew the wind was hitting (small guess) 35 knots (or even more!) I went to Zonnemaire. I even did a few high jumps with the speedboard and landed even softer then I was riding through the chop! The ones that stayed home because of the rain where wrong again. My nose is burned again; (red nose raindeer) We had only a few drops of rain at the end of the day for only 2 minutes.. Succesfull windsurfday it was..
