Yesterday I was going to use the Monster but instead took the 44.. Today it was Monstertime and 5.8 was the right sail again. Although its not the best size on the Monster it did quiet well with the 32 cm Katana race fin. I left the 36 at home because I normally wouldn't have used the board but so I did now. Did all my runs in the chop in the middle of the lake and altough the chop reached approx. 75 cm I was confident. Happy with the max speed of 62 in these conditions. I had no spinouts during sailing downwind or upwind, that amazed me for the size of the fin compared to the board. Oh yes I did have spinout, due to WEEEEED!  Now I know why they have so many weedfins in the shops at Leucate..  I was very curious on the mile and guessed it would be a little faster as I did yesterday and so I did... in the chop. Yesterday I sailed the mile next to shore and much smaller chop.. It has been many years by the way I sailed in a short en topless body!! Water was like a hot tub.. incredible! And now I am ready for some Tram
