What a nice sunny day! and full of surprises!

There is a beach on my old homespot, the length of the speedspot became twice as long and apparantly there are some new sandbar's, (that made me crash really bad an ruined my Caspar) I will only sail here again at low tide after a scouting expedition on a waveboard! To bad I forgot the lead at home, it would have added some extra speed in the gusts, but for sure the best way to start the year.

Als dit geen super nieuwjaarsgeschenk is ;-) gestart met de bedoeling een goed uur te varen voor het team, ik dacht dat ik het niet gehaald had omdat ik op een zeker moment keidood zat maar 45km kan je moeilijk slecht noemen;-)

Daarna mij wat op snelheid toegelegd, heel tevreden over mijn topspeed (avg van bijna 72) de runs waren heel wat minder maar ik denk dat ik op de goede weg ben.

Kortom een superdag me veel buddy's ;-)

Snel nog even naar de Oesterdam gereden voor een korte sessie bij laag water.

Wat is het zalig varen op onze homespot, heb het echt gemist in 2013 !

Today I was trying to work on my 1 hour and my alpha and with succes., I almost had a pr on both. 

Unfortunately -  yes again !!! - my fin met some oysters at the start...

Result: completely dammaged with a lot of spinouts as result.  It was too dangerous to do 10 sec. 

At the end, I had a great day with some friends in the sun with nice temperatures.  

What else do we need?

Awesome session! Never saw so many people at the home spot on a winter monday!

Too bad my left arm cramped after only 15min. Speeds not bad for square conditions (runs in both directions).

Lost again too much time with the Slingshot. The crossfire was again faster! I'll keep it in mind for next time. You had too bear off in the nasty chop to have some descent 10sec runs... Did most of the runs unhooked! ! Scary sometimes...

Didn't expect to have such a high alpha because i didn't do a single one full planing. Was expecting 40 at the highest. Now I know a high 40 is in my reach. Even did a small PR on the NM i guess (need to check it). Always nice to start the year on the homespot with a 70+ session !
