Very hard wind (+55kt gusts) and angle was not good. Anders Bringdal went out to do some testing. After some runs we had a chat. Anders told us it was very difficult (although it didn't seem to cause him any trouble).
Some French riders and others were out but we decided to wait for the conditions to better.
In the late afternoon wind calmed down a bit to around a good 40kt with some good gusts above it and then we hit the water.
First with the 49 but when the water became flat I took the 44. The only mistake I made was that I hadn't done it earlier. With the 44 every run got better.
With a 74 on the display I was glad, but because of the sunset we had to stop. Only a few more runs would have made a big difference.
For me again a very tiny "salami pr on 2 sec" for joeri even bigger pr. Joeri and I were on the same sail size, never before. If I say Joeri was sometimes overpowered, imagine how it felt in my arms
