Nice afternoon sailing with Neil, very gusty, almost dead square/slight portack. I should gave gone with my initial gut feeling and rigged a 7.8m. Much less wind at the south end of lake compared with the north end, making it difficult to accelerate. Very very busy on the wall with windsurfers tucking into the wall on both directions. Not safe t bear away from the wall so all speeds were on a tight course. Still not sure if I like my f2012 7m, still convinced my old f2010 7m was faster!! Nice session.

Snapped a batten when rigging, frown that will be fun to fix. Started out on my F2 thommen 280 II after about an hour switched to the Falcon 80 could have done with a little mor volume in the lulls. Nice to see Alan C, Mark H, Simon (boardwise) and Simon L (on is annual outing). Wind was up and down had some nice runs.smiley
