early morning session with Anthony and Bob.First time on spot. Took small fin because not sure about water depth.

At 10-11 am, thermal effect opposed offshore wind, so called it a day.

Now time on water for kids and wife at La Palme

Revision: Called it a 'morning' cheeky. When I was at the swimming pool with the kids, it seemed to me that the wind was much stronger then when I was on the water. From our house in Fitou I could clearly see some sails going up and down at La Fanqui and La Mine (Leucate). Postponed the plans for the family surf to tomorrow, had some lunch and we drove together to the beach for a late afternoon session. Anthony was still there and told me that the wind picked up half an hour after we drove away...angry

Same set as this morning, but now the 7.8 was nicely powered up sometimes. But it was extremely dangerous with hundreds of swimmers, divers, floating kiteboards, kite lines, fishing lines !!... Luckily I have some 'Herkingen experience' so ended the day in one piece. Coarse was very broad, you couldn't sail along the beach during the upwind track, ending sometimes very far in the sea.

Had a close encouter with a kite sufer doing some tricks and going upwind afterwards while i was doing my fastest run at 5m from the shoreline. Luckily i have a loud voice wink

Hopefully a real tram day in the next 10 days (but not too heavy because my F51 is my smallest board).

nice unexpected slalom session today on GA vapor 7.9 & isonic 107.. the wind started out a bit light and gusty in the morning but then picked up in the afternoon.
