I sailed Suhrendorf the last time more than 10 years ago. In the ninties our local surf club from the lake "Tollensesee" organised nice trips to this place and we improved a lot our skills as freeriders in these flatwater conditions. Nice to come back here and joining some friends of the german speed scene for a session. In the last two years they did good speeds for this usually choppy conditions.

I met Georg at the water and followed him deep downwind in a bay between the isle of Ummanz and Rügen. After he told me where to sail and where to watch out for stones, I hit a small one in between the described dangerous areas. My tip of the fin was completly destroyed and I had to leave upwind to change the equipment. So I missed the session with Georg and Max. When I came back, the best wind was gone and they went home. Mhhm ... :-(  It would have been nice to sail with you together.

First day this year with the ''small'' stuff at my second homespot. Nice, but short Session with my camping neighbour Georg and the German Speedsurf Champion 2013 himself Micha Naumann (GER14) smiley .

Tons of seaweed, but beautiful weather and colours.
