It was a very windy day here earlier, winds gusting up to over 30 knots. I arrived after work and winds were mostly 15 to 18 knots, but there were a few gusts to over 24 knots. All open water sailing, speeds were in main channel of the river, all chop.

I went out with dedicated slalom setup as winds were lightening. The 34 was fine much of the time but a smaller fin would have produced more speed. No weight jacket used as in all previous posts

The East winds here in the Gorge are back and there will be another good day there today
