Good one! Just started to rig and the big boys like Jacques, Hans and Peter all were rigging 5.8 or smaller. Soo I was not that confident it would be OK.

On the water I started and after 100m total out of control I was happy to be back onshore. Did apply some Jurjen vd Noord tips, like good downhaul, different outhaul trim. Now it was much better first run the 80km/h peakspeed was already on display and it stayed 3 out of 4 runs above 80.

I have never been so fast with 6.2.

I used the Sonntag GPS_4 23cm fin for these speeds, this one was rock solid performer for my speed. Above 80km/h it was a little bit sticky board in gusts, but I liked the control.

Who knows one day my average will be improved :)
