Today I tested my new ION fuse drysuit.  I wasn't sure what to expect as I have never used one.  I had some worries...seals to tight...leaks...overheat...extra fatigue..hard to swim in...etc etc.

Most of my worries changed to nice suprise as it was very comfortable and had less fatuige than a winter wetsuit.  It didn't leak at all and when I took it off the ION underwear was a bit damp from sweat but did the job of keeping the moisture off the body...def.rate them...felt a bit odd when in the water and I couldn't swim fast in it...so wouldn't wear it wave sailing or anywhere where you may have to swim like fuck after your kit.

I think its going to be the perfect suit for those West Kirby north east winds in January when the limits get tested!

I understand what you guys are saying about Luderitz spoiling the rankings of  gps and putting any previous or future efforts to insignifcance, but I guess its all progress and remember speed is all relative! It will never be a level playing field.  After 30 years of windsurfing I learned from a young age- There is always somebody with better kit or in a better place...thats windsurfing!

My 35 knots today was on the limits of control as I found out a couple of times! Gave me the same buzz as ever.
