Went To Gruissan  Today as I though La Franqui was a no go area – Bad day for me – good when I arrived rigged a 6.3 desperate to get a good one hour time an a good Alpha –only sailed few minutes then well over powered – tried to keep going but then hit a sand bank at high speed mega crash  broke harness line and boom  and didn’t feel too well . got to the van to change down – wind was gusting 50 mph ! laid the rig down near van an it blew away . could not open my eyes because sand storm .Poor daughter shut in the van covered in sand . eventually  decided to give up and travel inland to clean out the van and enjoy South of France – Bloody speed sailing !!!!
