Early Start, and carefully rigged the  NP 8.6. After 10 mins sailing it broke the mast, so this sail is now available to anyone who wants it for a tenner, if not it is going in the skip at the recycling centre

Rigged the old 9m which is much more sturdy and had a fun sail, very backhanded in the gusts but good fun in lovely warm water. Had a couple of hours on the water in the end and good to see Simon out sailing too. Looks like light winds for a few days now but hopefully some surfing on the way and a bit of a break from this relentless heat!!
