The angle started out a little better today so could sail closer to shore (200-300m off). Super gusty 5-30knots. Sailed for over an hour without coming back to shore - my 1 hour speed reflects how on/off it was. The last half hour was quite unpleasant with gusts diverging, and converging in totally different directions - it was like sailing a bucking bronco. The gusts were so big that my boom felt like it was aluminium at times because there was so much flex. Still it was partly sunny, and I was in my shorty - so it wasn't all bad.
