A nice day here at the local lake Steinhuder Meer ... the perfect wind forecast with gusts up to 35 kn, dry - sometimes sunny and 14°C ... I never had seen such a wind forecast in the last five years living up here.

I pushed the spot-racord today and its a fast time for a lake placed in central Germany. Three years I was waiting for such a forecast. Sorry for Manfred, the old record holder from June 2011, that he can't take part at our local match. He travelled yesterday to Lüderitz for the ultimate speed challenge on this planet. Good Luck everybody down there.

One sacrifice for Aeolus, the greek wind god, was given in my last run. Riding over the short difficult chop my fin lost grip and I crashed badly. ... resulting in a big bumper on my forehead, next to the edge of my helmet. Tomorrow in the office I need a nice cup as defilade :-)

In german we would say "Wo gehobelt wird, fallen Späne"

One of my last "to do's" completed here in the inland. Next month my family will settle back to the coast of the Baltic Sea. :-)
