First GPS outing at The Bluff / Hayle Rivermouth.  I arrived just as the speedy Simon Hinkley was packing up from a frustrating session. A big thanks to him for being so friendly (We've never met before) and free with very useful advice.

Gusty SSW drizzle and rain but great fun nonetheless. The wind  did'nt fill in as strong as forecast and I was rarely fully powered. I was on my small 53cm board which was a better weapon than my bigger 67cm would have been but what's clearly needed is something around the 59cm mark. I've clocked a fair few miles on these two designs now and have a good sense of what's working and what is not so they'll be going back in the workshop for some mods and a new mid size board will also emerge this winter.

Slowly getting quicker and really enjoying mastering a different discipline to wave-sailing not that it seems you really get to master either!
