a day to remember, blistering wind....unsailable at times with fields of spray moving over the water, gusts up to 60 knots!

started at 7 am on the 5.5 but couldnt get the speeds I wanted, the wind was too off shore, gusty on the inside... so I rigged the 6.1 Avanti machine even though everyone told me too wait. thought I made the right call hitting run after run over 80, the sail was boosting but then my harnes line broke on the port tack side and had to walk all the way back up to the carpark, exactly while it started nuking.

when i fixed the new harness line and headed back out, I did one more decent run and spent the rest of the time just standing there holding the rig watching nature take over, for an hour it seemed there was no break in the gust and always over 50 knots of wind.
