Forecast looked great, and arrived to find a solid 30knots. Unfortunately it gradually dropped throughout the day and I probably missed the best of it while rigging.
Was too broad to be really quick and quite lumpy for West Kirby.

Sailed all day though and tested lots of stuff; a seat harness for the first time (wasn't impressed but will persevere) and an Aluminium fin (Asy with 6mm thickness! was too bendy as it was also quite high aspect, managed 39.5 with it though in less than ideal wind after lunch). Will try lower aspect and more rake next time..

I think tuesday was loads quicker -shame I lost my GPs on the 2nd run after wiping out on the 'high tide chop' and had to call it a day at 9am. :(
