Mal Wright lend me one of his older prototype fins to try and am not sure if I identified it correctly. Mal admitted that the fin was large for the sail and conditions, but the fin did not lift up the board even at 37 knots of board speed and was quite stable.

The fin provided some entertainment too. Above 36 knots of the board speed the fin produced a high pitch sound that took me some time to identify.

This is the first non-symmetric fin that I have ever tried. To my surprise - using it on the "wrong" tack I could go upwind at up to 22 knots of speed in the chop, pointing quite high.
