New pb for Point Henry. Still not quite the magic 40 but the conditions were less than ideal. It was a matter of sailing between the rolling swells that were about 1/2 metre high. The Lockwood/Mcdougall 23 fin was perfect in the small slalom board which confirms my thoughts that it was way too big last time on tha flat water @ Sandy when I was doing 45.6's on the Missile. It never lets go and is so prdictable. It just takes a while to learn to trust it and tell yourself that you're not gonna die in the chop! The 5.8 07 Koncept was perfect and was always powered up and just wanted to keep accellerating when I had to dump off the power heading into the really rough stuff. Cameron took a massive crash in the chop and lost his helmet and glasses. His session was very restricted after that but deserves a medal for continuing to sail without being able to see very well. All in all a good day with reasonable results for Pt Henry.
