iS90, 7.0RBlade, 33 CL Sl2 - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU NNE 21-25kn

Well it was a day late but 2nd day of Spring really turned on a cranking Seabreeze (it was reading 24-27 on the BOM but northerlies tend to read higher than east/south easterlies).  Took first ten minutes to settle nerves as haven't sailed for so bloody long and even longer in a solid NE.  Made my way over to Main Beach and got into the groove.  No offs until  right at the end back at Lammermoor when I launched off this rather steep section and mistimed the landing. Beautiful late arvo sail although glare on starboard tack blinding at times and made it difficult to pick lines.  Fin brilliant as usual although heading deep on my return from Main Beach it let go when hitting lulls and lost fin pressure and noticed samuri sword trailing edge roughly worn just up from tip from spinning out at a resonable speed.  Nothing a light sanding won't fix but amazed at the forces at play when pushing something so fine sideways through the water.
