Finally Bunbeg is starting to show it's potential :) , and we got a day with the conditions I have been looking for (for a short while anyway)
I went on small kit, as it was mega windy while rigging, and I really wanted to try this combo with the small board and small sail, going for efficienct over masive sail+massive lead.
The first run was awesome, and best speed, which made the drive worth it! Nice to see 47 on the dial again :)
Next runs were not as fast, really was a bit underpowered for going broad, but I hadn't bothered rigging the 5.4. Sail started to feel weird, and after 3rd run noticed that the luff was ripped almost completely inside the luff tube, so happy I managed to get a few more runs before calling it a day and going wavesailing at Maghertoarty.
Was good day testing, and now I know what may come.
Wind west SW, about 240-245 degrees I think, which was ideal.
Possible new NR for 10 sec (just), subject to varification.
