Started at low tide on Isonic Speed W49 with 23 Hot Rod. Did a 37 kn then changed to Isonic 87 with incoming tide chop. Haven't been on 87 for a while. Board was slow to accelerate and felt like a pig compared to Falcon 80, BUT sure did hall arse when wound up!! GW 52 accuracy killing my peak!!. Could have got away with a 27 Hot Rod in the bigger flatter gusts earlier on. Combo rock solid. Just need more body weight. Arms were cramping towards the end after full weekend surfing Mangawhai yesterday. That last run was definitely a Goodie!!  Dave
