Sandy Point. Vic. Easterly.

The wind was forecast to drop but it actually held all day and peaked again pretty close to 30 on the gusts but mostly mid 20's.

Same issue as the day before with the angle of the speed bank compromised severly by the shallow sand islands jutting out making it almost impossible to run the ideal angle for more than a couple of seconds. The bank is shaping up to be better for straight Easterlies (rare) or proper North Easterlies. I had ENE.

Rigged the 5m again and took the CA40. Actually rememberd to do a gybe for an Alpha this time but the return speed was a bit slow. I came back in with the intention of taking the wave board back out with 4m wave sail to go for some jumps on the big standing waves in the channel, but I realised I needed the boom on the 5m. By the time I had derigged I had lost enthusiasm and after a chat with the other sailors I called i a day.

At least we has a very pleasant 27-28 degrees, unlike most of the rest of the state which sweltered.
