This is the GPS track from my heats today in the PWA Slalom. It was a mix of 6.3 and 5.2, but the best 10 second was with the 5.2. All the top speeds were down the first reach. I was a little off the pace of the top guys, so maybe they were 0.5-1kt quicker.

The 98 X-fire is a dream here down the first reach as the nose clears over the backs of waves so easily that you can really keep driving it no matter what.
