Good wave period again today, 18sec with some big sets coming through.

I was caught out in the middle of two with no wind. The upwind one was closing out for some considerable distance and I couldn’t out run it so had to wait until it collected me to surf down and get to the end and away. Glad to say I had a lucky escape.
