2nd day. Predictions were a lot better but 3 quarters of the session were pretty bad anyway....super gusty, even for Horst with very short gusts and large holes. We decided to go for same gear and just hope for the wind to turn up. Martin once again planing when I just couldn't..and I'm a pretty good starter. Martin decided to punch a hole in his Falcon Speed so that was exit for him but he was really fast up till then. I just missed every gust somehow, but Martin went fast without massive gusts anyway....just one for me which was nothing more than ok....decided to quit and when sailing back I passed a flat area..decided to stick around and had myself one really nice gust which sghowed a top speed of 80.60 on the GPS. Some good ones after that to save my average and day. As these 2 days were for testing 5.6 sails to compare and get my setting right (first 2 sessions on this 5.6) I am happy that in the best gust I felt the trim was absolutely right and it also is competitive in quite a bit less wind...apart from the get going. I need to dadd that most were on 6.3 and some on 7.0...it was absolutely no weather for 5.6.
