Wind was STRONG! over 40knots but averaging 35knots.  Came from NNW and it made the course very tight. NW or N to NE works best here. The tight course didn't help me to hold down the sail and I was often lifted onto my toes. Good learning though :-)  Tide was 0.7m low and there was plenty of water if you stayed away from the 'island' out from the launch spot
