The First Lake George trip this year and perhaps the last...

Good to meet Dale from the Pit Crew and have someone to sail with.  Wind was up and down with a few 30 knt hail squals which were fun.  I always managed to be climbing upwind when they hit, plus I couldn't see!  Went for a recon on the Creeper 58 early on which was fun with my new HD MEGAweed 18 and then stuck with the Mistral 112 for the gusty winds. 

I had a massive catapult in the super thick wire weed near the spit, breaking a harness line and boom head.  Luck I had a spare line in the back pack and was able to keep sailing.  Definately delta weed only territory.  I was sailing over it earlier with the delta but changed to the weed speed for better upwind & general performance over the rest of the lake.
