Expected not that much wind, hoped for more anyway, but I was right. Still, good opportunity to try some more downhaul settings, so interesting day still. I know now what works and what does not. Very interestting to see so far in these moderate conditions the RDM does not seem to have a disadvantage compared to the SDM. Wind was less than last week. Just missed that little bit of extra push in the wind for my board/fin combo to start flying, but the idea considering the wind, was to see what was possible. Sym Speed 31 is a really nice fin and suits the Falcon 89 really well with the 7.0 Venom 2020 which I believe is the best sail I ever used. It planes earlier than anything I used before and it is just so light on the hands (and in weight). I can't wait to get it out in its upper windrange, and also try the smaller sizes, S2 Maui designer Artur Szpunar created an awesome sail for sure.
