Lake Clearwater, Ashburton, NZ
Great day trip up to Clearwater with Aaron, big day on water in pretty tough conditions.
Very shifty and gust lake, with some nuclear gusts coming through then periods of next to no wind at all.
Swapped between speed booard and small slalom on the new 6.3m, (with a couple of quick runs on Snowys wave gear).
Couple of good runs but very tough to make the speed run work, decided would do one last run home, got pretty powered up hit some chop and crashed with a broken mast. Big thanks to Aaron for the pick up on the other side saving long walk home!
