Nice fun day at Torquay off the reef in warm water and sun. Never  really powered up enough to go broad but great fun anyway. The F2 Sx "s" is good fun in these conditions and the 09 KA Koncept was brilliant as ever. I'd forgotten how much fun it is to gybe on the swell face and plane away. Did new pb in alpha ( however slow :) on the outside in the waves. Had a new object to look out for apart from kites... the tourist! The warm water brings them out in droves and they tend to swim right in the flat/ fast area next to the reef. Had to pull out of a few runs in the interest of safety....
The KA 30 cm was really good off the wind but ideally with the 6.6, I would love to have a 32 or 34 for the upwind slog.
All results doppler off the navi GT11
cheers Tony
