What a day at the Brace! Ready for PR hunt I got my RAM F8, but when putting on the 3rd camber I noticed something very weird... I apperantely have pulled my 5.8 into two pieces!!!! Just above the camber the sail is seperated from the batten. Well that's where the day was about to end, as taking my 5.0 (too small) or 6.8 (too big) wheren't really options to consider. But Jan very kindly offered to use his RS Racing 5.8 and John was so kind to offer me his 4.30 - so back to PR hunt again with a sail never sailed before. Anyway, go on with 4 perfect runs in total control (guess I need to get out of control to hit the 80's), but in the 5th run things got worse. While doing some Jaws-style upwind surfing, I managed to loose control and land head first on the sail. And it shows pretty ugly. But should be fine again in a couple days.
But anyway, even without the needed 5th run some new PR's. Congrats to all who sailed new PRs!
