With the wind only forecast for a few hours in the middle of the day I made it to the beach at 3 and with the wind gusting 18 to 22 kts started with the big freeride kit because of the swell.It started of really well maxed out with 7.5 and a good rolling swell,I went for a fast mile first and was on course for a fast hour when the wind just switched off and went offshore leaving me to wobble in a half mile downwind :(  I packed up and my mate Neil helped me carry my gear back !!!
