Arrived at the campsite at 10.30 still knackered from yesterdays epic adventure !!! so relaxed for awhile then headed for Lepe for 2.30.Light winds met us then 20 kts rigged 7m and the fanatic 90 by the time this was ready the wind had dropped :( so rigged the 8.5 to go out on the longboard by which time the wind had returned :) so spent a couple of hours flying about the solent with 2m more sail than I needed - the joys of taking gear on the roof rack and the 14 kt forecast turns into 24 kts !!! I on fast run toward the Isle of Wight when I was catapulted off the font breaking my adjustable outhaul ,so as I was tieing it back together a motor boat circled around me saying I was in the middle of the power boat course !!!!
Again too windy to tie the boards on the roof !!! then fish and chips at Lepe - top day.
