A strange day in Perth. The wind never hit the river with any force. It stayed offshore according to all the inland BoM weather station wind meters.
By the look of things Chris had OK wind at Woodman Pt. About 20 km south I had absolute full power 5.8 in Cockburn Sound. The BoM wind meter at Garden Island is about 2 nm from where I was hitting the upwind point of my runs and it was averaging 25 and gusting 30 from 3 to 5 PM when I was out.
Think I have topped out the 68cm Kinetic Gladiator 115 for the hour ranking going crosswind. A bit of tail walking today! Rest easy Michel.
