With a good wind forecast I took the gear for a ride :) looking firstly at the Dip which looked good with the kiters having fun in the waves but decided against the choppy open sea with my cut hand from last weekend and my elbow still not right went to see if I could find some flatter water at Levington.I got there at midday and the tide was still low and the wind sse 18 to 30 mph !!! I wanted to try my new lightweight zantos and rigged the 7m,sadly this was never enough in the gusty light winds although I did pick up a couple of gusts and was surprised to make nearly 28 knots !!! I then tried my isonic 135 with 8.5 but the wind was even lighter not helped by the wind with tide which is a shame as the water was fairly smooth. It's starting to look like we will never get any good wind over in Suffolk again :(
