Last day from our 4 days testtrip to La Franqui.
Conditions were most of the time nucleair and we escaped two times to Gruissan as this place is always less windy but slower as the wind angle is 90 degrees. No long flat courses anymore in La Franqui as the whole coast of South of France is changed after an onshore storm end of last year. We were able to test some of the JP proto boards so trip was succesfull anyway.
Most end consumers and riders i spoke recently all agreed the new widebase fins and super stable NP sails make it possible to increase their speeds and don't make hard crashes anymore. I think its now time to just make the boards faster as control problems are not the main problem anymore. In my opinion the way to go to make the 90 km/h in reach for many speedsurfers.
