Yesterday it was less windy than forecasted at the Dutch Slalom championships and i used a lot of energy pomping my 7,8 around the course. Today i hoped for an epic session on Da Curve with windspeeds of 30-40 knots. I think we had 45-50 knots today and this was a little bit to much with this wind angle and the rolling shop. Alex and me were not always sailing at the same spot so i hold back a little bit just for safety reasons. If something happens you are in the middle of the sea with so much wind and nobody around.

The Wad1Team turned around half way with the boat and this was a good decision, the way back with the waterscooter was really exciting and maybe a little bit dangerous. I think Alex van der Meer liked it a lot;-)

A lot of respect to Hans, who proved today at the Brace he is not only performing well in mid wind conditions. He was the only one sailing real speeds today while the elite of the dutch speed scene was standing on the beach waiting for the wind to decrease.
