Oh Yeahhh, What a great session today, Wind from the South, challenging conditions, nasty chop but today finally I got the feeling of flying in full control.

The day started early, very early. André Hoogendam and I decided to start around 07:00 to have the best wind and best wind direction. At arriving the wind wasn’t that good but we were there and decided to go. For me the Evo 1 6.2 and the good old FF80 should do the trick. Under the FF80 I put a brand new Casper 29 just to find out how it will performed.

The trip to Hompelvoet was as always challenging. Nasty chop was coming from everywhere making me airborne even if I didn’t like it. At the dam it was good. Direction was nice. Wind was picking up and I was in control. Already the 4th run I managed over the 70km/u 10sec. Since then my speeds were increasing with a best run of 72.57.

During the time many speeders where showing their face at the dam of Hompelvoet. All of them were going fast si I’m curries how much difference there is between me and my teammates Hans Blue steel Kreisel, Jacques van der Hout, André Hoogendam, Stefan Brouwers, Wouter de Vries and many more ans also our Belgium friends Benajmin, Patrick and Patrick. If I’m staying in 5km from Hans and Jacques I would be very happy.

After 3,5 hours of sailing my arms where hurting, I was getting tired so time to go back. I’m very happy with this second best session ever and pb on the 500m.

Everyone thanks for the company at this great session.
