This was my first visit in years to this scenic venue about 45 minutes from the Pacific Ocean on the Columbia River. Setting is similar to the Columbia Gorge with mountains on both sides for a great wind tunnel. There is a tidal effect and I was sailing at the end of a flood tide and start of ebb.

It was all open water sailing , no sandbars to smooth things. wind was overall quite consistent as were speeds as noted above.

My rig setup was more for open water slalom, as opposed to going to a smaller fin for more top end occaisonally. This si preferred as I am lit up more and get more exercise:)
