And one more session on our biggest board; the Godzilla. It's simply astonishing how much wind this board handles at ease. It was still fast eventhough the board was noticably way too big to be truly competitive. The speed it gave completely blew me away this time. I am not light, but for sure not nearly as heavy as giant Ed who weighs in over 30 kilo more than I do. He set a new standard by speedsailing on PWA light wind boards and this inspired me to take things to the edge as well (and the fact our mid wind boards are transported to the Defi). I also again used the World Cup set-up by sticking to the 48 deep Katana fin.

The board stayed controllable, even in the strongest gusts and fastest downwind runs. It was easy to set, only my legs burnt off due to the pressure the board and fin gave haha. Effectively this means this board can easily be sailed wth a ten sqmtr and a 55 fin, but it feels as if it will be good for topspeeds close to 40 knots when using a 7.0 and a 40-44fin. I'd like to test both ends of the scale to see if I am right.

All in all a great day with lots of speedies very close together. Luc and Sander set themselves apart from the rest. Congrats guys!
