Dunkerbeck GPS Speed Challenge
The heat is on. Long summer days, thermal winds, trade winds and perfect water conditions create the ideal environment to push your limits and improve your ranking in the global standings.

Take on the challenge and charge your way through the second stage of the Dunkerbeck GPS Speed Challenge 2026. The Summer Edition is the second event of the three-part global speed sailing series. Riders from around the world can record their fastest sessions and compete against the international community.

As the midpoint of the series, this event can be decisive in the fight for the overall title. Every run counts, and every knot can make the difference.
The ranking is based on the highest average speed over 250 meters measured via GPS.
Series Overview
The Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge Virtual Global Tour runs in three periods:
• 01.04. – 31.05.26 · Period 1: The First Edition – Kick Off
• 01.07. – 31.08.26 · Period 2: Summer Edition – The Charge
• 01.10. – 30.11.26 · Period 3: The Third – Final Action

The overall series champion will be crowned based on the combined results of all three periods.
Categories (250m Average Speed)
• OPEN

• Junior (11–14)
• Junior Plus (15–18)
A category is only valid if at least three participants compete. Otherwise, results are counted in the Open Ranking.

• Format: Highest 250m average speed using GPS
• Results must be uploaded to GPS-Speedsurfing.com by 23:59 UTC on August 31, 2026
Eligibility and Entry
• Open worldwide, all skill levels
• Registration via GPS-Speedsurfing.com
• Only approved GPS devices/apps accepted
Registration & Participation
• Register as a user on www.gps-speedsurfing.com (GP3S)
• Sign up for the event Summer Edition – The Charge
• By creating an account on GP3S, all participants agree to the terms and conditions, allowing DSC to share session data for rankings and send event-related information
• Upload your session to be included in the ranking. DSC reserves the right to determine participation eligibility
Series Championship
• Overall winners decided by combined results of all three events in 2026
• Tie-breaker: Fastest single speed achieved in any event
Results Submission
• Competitors are responsible for correct data upload
• Late submissions will not be considered
Liability
• Participation at own risk
• Organizers, sponsors and partners assume no liability for injuries, accidents or damages
• Participants are responsible for their fitness, safety and equipment
Disqualification
• Manipulated or falsified GPS data leads to immediate disqualification
• Organizers reserve the right to verify all results
Amendments
• Organizers may adjust rules when necessary to ensure fairness and safety. By registering, competitors accept these rules and confirm responsibility for their own safety.
